The Louisiana Lottery was launched in 1991, and currently offers several games to players. It is a member of the Multi-State Lottery Association. Most lottery proceeds are donated to education and other public programs. In Illinois, the lottery also offers Powerball, Mega Millions, and other multi-state games. The proceeds of these games go to public programs, including parks and open space conservation.
